Safety Standards and Procedures
At MuuVZ, safety is our top priority. We've implemented comprehensive safety measures to ensure every journey is secure and comfortable.

- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record with no major violations
Screening Process
- Submit required documents
Ongoing Monitoring
Drivers are continuously monitored through passenger feedback, random safety checks, and periodic re-verification. Any negative safety reports trigger an immediate review.
2. Vehicle safety standards
All vehicles used on MuuVZ should meet strict safety and maintenance standards.
Vehicle Requirements
- Valid registration and comprehensive insurance
- Regular safety inspections (annual mandatory)
- Clean, well-maintained interior and exterior
- Proper functioning safety features (airbags, seatbelts, brakes)
Safety Inspection Checklist
- Brakes (pads, rotors, fluid)
- Tires (tread depth, pressure, condition)
- Lights (headlights, taillights, signals)
- Steering and suspension
- Fluid levels (oil, coolant, brake fluid)
- Seatbelt operation for all seats
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Failure to maintain vehicle standards may result in temporary suspension, required repairs within a specified timeframe, and potential permanent suspension for repeated violations.

Share Trip Details
You can share your trip details with trusted contacts, who can view your live location and estimated arrival time.
4. Emergency contact protocols
We have clear procedures for handling emergencies during a ride.
In-App Emergency Button
Located prominently in the ride screen, tapping it immediately notifies our 24/7 safety team and shares your location. You can also choose to directly call local emergency services (911).
Safety Team Response
Our safety team will attempt to contact you and the driver. If they cannot reach you or confirm an emergency, they will contact local authorities and provide them with your real-time location.
What to Do in an Emergency
- Stay calm and use the in-app emergency button
- If safe, call 911 directly
- Share your location with a trusted contact
- Follow instructions from our safety team
5. Insurance coverage details
The Driver agrees to insure their vehicle in accordance with applicable laws and to verify the validity of their insurance before each trip.
Driver & Passenger Protection
It is the responsibility of each driver and passenger to verify with their insurance company that they are covered during carpooling. For drivers with company vehicles, it is also their responsibility to verify that their insurance policies cover all passengers during a carpool trip. The driver and passenger are informed that their insurance companies may refuse to cover damages caused in any incident while using a private vehicle for commercial purposes. The member accepts full financial responsibility for any uncovered insurance claim that may arise from an incident and agrees that MuuVZ is in no way liable.
